2012 Ocean Experience Summer Surf Camps

Our San Diego Surf Camp builds confidence while you develop new ocean water skills. Ocean Experience surfing camps offer the most comprehensive surf instruction available. Learn proper surfing techniques, surfboard shaping, skateboarding, skimboarding, surf etiquette, oceanography, water safety and get a glimpse into San Diego surf culture. Surfing sessions are taught by an experienced and professional staff that will carefully and thoroughly guide you to success on the waves. A love of the water begins with a solid foundation of learning and Ocean Experience San Diego Surf Camps is the absolute best place to learn to surf in San Diego.

This expanded version of our private lessons thoroughly explores the fundamentals of surfing. Our patented method of instruction is based on skill exercises, and is presented in an easy to learn format. Skills covered include: balance training, paddling progression, the "pop up," catching waves, and oceanography. As always all equipment is included.

Our San Diego Surf and Sport Camps provide participants with multiple opportunities to experience and enjoy San Diego's beaches, bays, culture, and community. Unique and interesting classes, clinics, and tours offer a "locals" perspective that gives visitors a chance to explore San Diego up-close and personal.

Dynamic training sessions will improve skills, health, and fitness; while simultaneously educating students in various ocean water sports, activities, and disciplines. Training sessions are always age and skill appropriate and empower students to reach challenging, yet attainable goals. Group hotel accommodations, healthy and substantial meals, all equipment and learning materials, as well as local transportation and instructors are all included.
